Double Page Spread Planning

When choosing the photo I wanted to use I had to make sure that I had dressed the model appropriately to fit in with the pop genre. Here are some people who are dressed appropriately (some of these are casual and some are more dressy).

From my initial photo shoot this photo came across as my favourite to use for the DPS:

I then decided to do another photo shoot and gained these images:

My favourite photo was this one:

I decided to write out some possible questions that I wanted to use for my interview, I came up with 10 questions originally however I may have to come up with some more if it doesn't take up enough space on the page. I wanted to focus my questions on music but in my research I found that other areas of the celebrities life were explored as well.

I thought about doing some quick fire questions instead of doing more than 10 questions because that could get quite boring. Examples of the quick fire questions are: what is your favourite food? Who is your favourite female artist? Who is your favourite male artist? All time favourite movie?

Possible pull quotes that I liked:
- "I love my new life and how much it has changed just sometimes I find it hard to deal with"
- "The second I opened my front door I was blinded by the flashing lights for the paparazzi's cameras"
- "I deserve privacy" - I was worried that this one would be too short.
- "Who I caught googling my name!" To substitute the words so it makes sense I will change the quote to 'I caught my mum googling my name'
- "I couldn't sleep for weeks, it was all I was thinking about" - this quote provokes interest as readers will be drawn into wondering why she couldn't sleep; this is a technique used by TOTP magazine when it said "I kissed her".
- "I'm just focussing on cracking the UK before even thinking about going worldwide"

I have come up with two similar designs for my DPS, here are the flat plans:

Despite me planning on deleting some questions from my DPS article, as I reckon I will still be pushed for space that I will have to have some of the writing covering approximately half the second page which may overlap some of the picture. I also prefer the 'fame, fabulous and fortune' idea over the 'Shona' title.
